The revised and expanded 2nd edition of “Perdurabo”
The Weiser Concise Guide to Aleister Crowley (2009)
“Panic in Detroit: The Magician and the Motor City” (2006) describes Aleister Crowley’s efforts to start a Supreme Grand Council of O.T.O. in Detroit in 1918-1919 and the “mess in the press” that followed. Extensively documented with previously unpublished letters between Crowley and C.S. Jones (Frater Achad), dozens of newspaper articles, and other original source material.
“Perdurabo Outtakes” (2005) features two chapters that were severely edited for length for the published editions of “Perdurabo,” a reprint of Crowley’s rare “Rosicrucian Scandal,” and reproductions of dozens of newspaper articles reporting on the court cases described here.

As Editor or Co-Editor

“Beauty and Strength” (2009), proceedings of the Seventh National OTO Conference in Salem, MA. R. Kaczynski edited the book, and contributed the article “Carl Kellner’s Occult Roots: Sex and Sex Magic in the Victorian Age,” which offers a thorough biography of Kellner, including the first scholarly examination of his purported esoteric teachers.
“The Revival of Magick and Other Essays” (1998), edited by Hymenaeus Beta and Richard Kaczynski, collects essays which Crowley wrote with a popular audience in mind, thus giving some of his clearest thinking on the principles of Thelema and Magick.

On DVD

“Aleister Crowley: The Great Beast 666” (2007) is Donna Zuckerbrot’s excellent documentary on Crowley originally produced as an episode of Canadaian Vision TV program “Enigma.” It includes interviews with Lon Milo DuQuette, Richard Kaczynski and Marco Pasi.
“Dan Burnstein’s Secrets of the Occult” (2006) provides an engaging 60-minute capsule history of the occult…not an easy task! Includes interview footage with Richard Kaczynski, James Wasserman, and others.

“Rebels and Devils” (2002, 2nd ed.) is a collection of essays by Christopher S. Hyatt, Timothy Leary, and a host of others, including Richard Kaczynski’s article “Taboo and Transformation in the Works of Aleister Crowley.”
“The Golden Dawn Source Book” (1996) is volume two of Darcy Küntz’s comprehensive Golden Dawn Study Series, and includes historical essays by authors like R. A. Gilbert and others. Includes Richard Kaczynski’s article “Daybreak: Early History and Origins of the British Order of the Golden Dawn.”
“People of the Earth: The New Pagans Speak Out” (1995) is an enlightening collections of interviews by Ellen E. Hopman’s with leading figures of the neopagan movement. Includes a foreword by Richard Kaczynski.

Selected Academic Publications

“Antipsychotic Trials in Schizophrenia: The CATIE Project” (2010) contains several papers on the multisite treatment effectiveness clinical trials known as CATIE. Richard Kaczynski is co-author on a chapter dealing with family outcomes.

This is an offprint of an article from the journal “Clinical Approaches in Bipolar Disorders” (2004), which included a literature review on treatment regimen adherence (for which Richard Kaczynski was a co-author).
For this 2003 special issue of “Seminars in Orthodontics” focusing on orthodontics and gnathology, Richard Kaczynski was a guest editor and a co-author of several articles.
