ErrataPERDURABO: The Life of Aleister Crowley In an ongoing effort to ensure that Perdurabo remains the most complete and accurate biography of Aleister Crowley, this page will contain clarifications and corrections to the text. I like to think of Perdurabo as the first biography with a support website. If you have additions to this list, please write. On page 202, P.B. Randolph's dates should be 1825-1875. Page 203 gives Karl Kellner's birth and death dates, although they were previously given on p. 202. On page 214, Jacques de Molay was the Knights Templar's last Grand Master, burnt at the stake on March 18, 1314. Although W.T. Smith's first name appears in many places (including Perdurabo) as "Wilfrid," it is in fact spelled "Wilfred." See Martin Starr's excellent The Unknown God for a complete biography of this remarkable man. Leah Hirsig's date of death is 1975, not 1951. Additional information is found here. Page 430-431 quotes from an erroneous source. The portion that reads "That the Lodge was actually termed a whorehouse is the least. But what a low class of a whorehouse!" is from a letter from Karl Germer to Aleister Crowley, 7 August 1946.The remainder of the quote, however, does not appear in the letter. LAShTAL.COM has updated the web links found in the footnotes to Perdurabo.
I'd like to extend my personal thanks to Soror Meral, Martin Starr, LAShTAL.COM and Holy Pardieu for their contributions to this list. More errata to come!
